U.S. Onion Statistics Stock #94013 Economic Research Service United States Department of Agriculture (Revised March 2011) DOCUMENTATION The statistical information on this data product provides data from 1960-2010,in 74 tables originally published as ERS Statistical Bulletin No. 880 entitled, U.S. Onion Statistics, 1960-93. This data set contains series for the period 1960-2010 at the U.S. and State-level for bulb onions (excludes green onions) acreage, yield, production, price, and value. Other series include world area, yield, and production (1961-2009), world trade 1990-2008, U.S. trade by product by country (1961-2010), various price series, and more. These tables are stored as Excel (.xls) worksheets. The files can be retrieved and used by any software capable of reading .xls files. Each file file generally represents one table although some files (such as the world tables) contain data broken into more than one table for easier use. Some files have multiple worksheets (such as Census and most U.S. trade files). If your browser does not allow the file to be opened, try downloading the file, save it to your hard drive, and then open the file from your spreadsheet package.
