Cotton Consumed during the month ending June 30, 1995, amounted to 998,739      
bales.  Cotton on hand in consuming establishments at the end of June was       
722,944 bales, and the total in public storage and in compresses was            
2,489,162 bales.  Active consuming cotton spindles totaled 2,887,000, and       
the quantity of domestic cotton exported, excluding linters, was 603,500 bales.
