Hop Inventory Down 3 Percent The inventory of hops held by growers, dealers, and brewers on March 1, 1995, totaled 88.3 million pounds, 3 percent below the amount on hand March 1, 1994. Hop production in 1994, at 74.6 million pounds, was 2 percent less than 1993 production. Brewers' stocks accounted for 57.9 million pounds, 66 percent of the total. Brewers' stocks were down slightly from a year earlier but 4 percent more than the amount on hand in 1993. Dealers and growers stored 30.4 million pounds this year, compared with 32.7 million pounds a year ago. HDR2012000110050324951500STKS.
